Compassionate in-home end of life care for pets.

Serving the Tucson metro area including, Vail, Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Benson, and surrounding areas.

Because there’s no place like home.

Deciding to put your pet to sleep is extremely difficult. In-home euthanasia lets you choose how to spend those final moments with your pet while helping them remain calm with your assuring presence.

Say goodbye in a safe and relaxing space.

One of the best and most loving gifts we can bestow to our pets is a peaceful passing that ends any pain or suffering they may be experiencing. Animals are more comfortable in familiar surroundings where they feel safest. Passing peacefully at home with family is often less stressful than traveling somewhere. In addition, it can help both human and animal family members with closure and can decrease searching behaviors in bonded animals.

Dr. Aimee Ratzlaff

Dr. Aimee is an Arizona native born in Tucson and raised in Sahuarita. At age six she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian, having always had cats, dogs, tree frogs, and her father’s occasional “pet” scorpions. Dr. Aimee graduated from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) and then Washington State’s College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Cougs!). She then returned to Arizona for a one-year rotating small animal internship in Mesa, before moving back to Tucson to practice general medicine for eight years.

Early in her career, Dr. Aimee learned that in-home euthanasia was a much more comfortable experience for families and, of course, their pets. A little over two years ago, she shifted her general practice to work exclusively on end of life care to help counsel family members with the most difficult part of a pet's life by giving them a peaceful passing.

Dr. Aimee lives with her husband, children, three cats — C.C. (the reformed barn cat), Blister (the Valley Fever survivor), Cody (the sweet stray that just showed up one day), — and the little heeler Bear. In her free time, she tries to keep up with the kids and household, and enjoys visiting her family in Sahuarita, Marana, and the Pacific Northwest.

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened”.
